A written assessment of how your business could be used for money laundering or terrorist financing, and how you manage those risks.
Who it is for
Small practices and businesses that have never documented their risks, or whose assessment is out of date.
What we do
Assess the following areas:
the nature, scale and complexity of your activities
your products, services and how you deliver them
the clients you serve
where your clients operate
any reliance on third parties
new technology
Take into account what Mauritius’s National Risk Assessment found for your sector.
Weigh the factors together, rate each risk high, medium or low, and record the reasons.
Set out the controls you have, where the gaps are, and the actions in order of priority.
What you receive
A written, documented risk assessment that shows how each risk was identified, rated and managed, with a short action list, in plain language.
Good to know
The assessment reflects your business as you describe it and as your records show it. The FSC’s guidance expects it to be reviewed at least once a year and whenever something significant changes. Responsibility for it stays with you, as owner or board.
Fees depend on the work involved. Get in touch and we will give you a quote.
